Gardners Lane Children's Centre

Gardners Lane Children's Centre, Cheltenham, is a Sure Start Children's Centre offering children under five and their families access to early education, health services, support and advice.
The centres are managed and funded through Gloucestershire County Council, Education Department. Children's centres in Gloucestershire bring services for children and families together, in line with the Every Child Matters outcomes www.dcsf.gov.uk/everychildmatters/ staying safe, being healthy, achieve economic wellbeing, making a positive contribution, enjoy and achieve.
Partnerships have been formed to enable the centre to deliver high quality services to meet family needs. The centre has a multi agency approach and currently has midwives, health visitors, portage workers, child minder coordinator and speach and language therapist based at the centre
265 families accessed services at the centre this quarter (01-03/2011) with 58 new families registering with us this quarter. As well as nursery the centre offers many groups and opportunities for families, please see our services for further information.
