Day care
Quite simply, your child's well being is at the heart of our provision.
We provide full day care for children aged 3 months to 5 years for 50 weeks of the year and are open from 8.00-6.00, Monday to Friday, closing only at Christmas, Bank Holidays and for 5 staff development days during the year.
StaffWe have a diverse team of experienced, fun staff here at the centre. Each child has a keyworker who is fully qualified and all staff have received St Johns First Aid training. We value our staff and think that their professional and personal development is vital to helping achieve the highest standards of care and education for the children. |

Snacks, Lunches, etc.
We are lucky enough to have our own cook here at the centre who freshly
prepares our snacks and meals for us every day in line with our healthy eating policy where meal times are enjoyable and fun. We can supply breakfast for your child if required, and we also supply a lunch at 12.00, both morning and afternoon healthy snacks and an afternoon tea around 4.30. We have a 3 week menu plan which we rotate and is attached on our information board for you to view. The menus are reviewed and changed every 4 months. We cater for all children's dietary needs - please advise your child's key worker.
For the younger children, staff are available to give advice on weaning and foods suitable for your baby. Kirsten, our cook will very happily cook your baby a
selection of fresh vegetables and fruit and gradually introduce different foods and textures along the way, always working alongside you and your requests.
What do you need to bring?
Please note that fees do not include nappies, wipes and formula feeds,
except in an emergency. We will be happy to store and label milk and keep it in our baby room kitchen. We will also label and store nappies and wipes if you request us to and will keep you informed as and when we need you to supply more. We also ask if you can supply your child with a spare set of labeled clothes, as sometimes children can get messy!!! In the summer months we will require labeled sun cream for your child and a sun hat in order for them to play outside when suitable.
Activities
Our building is spacious, well equipped and furnished to a high standard. When we became a centre of excellence, we further developed our indoor and outdoor play areas. We are lucky enough to have a large soft play area within the centre which all groups can access to promote physical
development, social development and fun!!! We have our own allotment very close to the centre where we grow our own vegetables and often take the children out to visit this.
